BURLINGTON, MA -- Veracode, Inc. announced its launch and the concurrent closing of a series A round of financing totaling $19.5 million. The company says it offers the industry's first "automated, on-demand security analysis solutions delivered through a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. it released its Veracode SecurityReview solutions, which allow organizations to discover security flaws in software automatically. Investors in the round included .406 Ventures, Atlas Venture, Polaris Venture Partners, as well as Symantec and Macrovision.
